What Happens if You Post a Donation Here?
posted almost 8 years ago by jillbrowne
If you post a donation on this website, the first thing we do behind the scenes is say a silent THANKS. We really appreciate it and so will the people who eventually use your donation.
This site is like a virtual warehouse. When you post a donation here, we keep track of it until we hear from someone who needs that item, Then we contact you to figure out the logistics of getting your donation into their hands.
We expect that some things, particularly furniture and housewares, will be in demand as more people move back to their homes, but that could be going on for some time. We thank you for hanging on to those items until there's someone ready to use them.
You may not hear much from us directly. Don't worry! We are thrilled you've posted your donation and every day we will be trying to match it with a need.
Thank you so much from the Alberta.Recovers.org website team.
