WHEN DISASTER STRIKES! Knowledge and preparedness help eliminate fear should an emergency occur. The Alberta Floods gave insight into how quickly such an emergency can be transformed into a disaster. Bridges of Love is introducing the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training. This excellent basic emergency training is tested and proven. Please attend our information session with Deputy Chief of the Calgary Emergency Management Agency and Marg Pollon as we share the course out-line and benefits of the training. The target audience for this pilot project funded by The Calgary Foundation is the Christian Church community with friends and neighbours. Please support this meeting as the city is expecting strong support for their involvement. February 19, 2014, 10 am - 11:30 pm Bridgeland/Riverside Community Centre, 917 Centre Avenue NE, Calgary.
